Living Exhibition - Koi

All of our Koi in the upper pond were born in Japan and hand-selected by the Koi Club of San Diego, who proudly maintain the fish and pond.

Our koi have been recognized by The Office of the Mayor from Yokohama, Japan and awarded Best in Class Bekko, First Place Kuromo, Goshiki Over 24”, Third Place Taisho Sanke and Third Place Showa Sanke at the Annual Koi Show.

Koi Health Advisor, Jack Chapmen from the the Koi Club of San Diego administers an antibiotic shot to our prized Omosako Shiro Utsuri (black and white koi), which suffered from a suspected raccoon attack in Oct. of 2010.
